From UK delivery to European public sector
Before Norvantis, our founding team spent years delivering complex software projects for UK local authorities, NHS organisations, and private health providers. We worked on council tax systems, planning portals, pathology lab platforms, and clinical tools — projects where failure was not an option and public accountability was constant.
When we relocated to Spain, we saw an opportunity. Local governments across Spain are investing heavily in digital transformation, but many struggle to find technology partners who combine genuine engineering depth with an understanding of public-sector procurement and compliance. Meanwhile, UK councils continue to need reliable delivery partners who understand their world.
That is the gap Norvantis exists to fill. We are not a body shop or a generalist consultancy. We are a focused software delivery firm built specifically to serve local government and health — with the quality, transparency, and accountability that public institutions deserve.

Former lead engineer on UK council and NHS digital programmes. Delivered citizen-facing platforms, pathology lab systems, and clinical tools used by hundreds of thousands of users. Deep experience with GDS standards, GOV.UK patterns, HL7/FHIR integration, and local authority systems.
Procurement & Operations
Extensive background in UK public-sector and NHS procurement — G-Cloud, Digital Marketplace, NHS Supply Chain, and direct tender response. Understands the commercial realities councils and health organisations face.
Architecture & Security
SC-cleared architect with a track record of designing secure, scalable systems for sensitive government workloads. Specialist in cloud infrastructure, zero-trust architecture, and compliance frameworks (Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, ENS).
Why UK and Spain?
Local government and health face remarkably similar challenges in both countries: ageing legacy systems, rising user expectations, tight budgets, and complex compliance requirements. The problems are the same — the procurement frameworks differ.
Our team is fluent in both. We understand UK procurement (G-Cloud, Contracts Finder, Digital Marketplace) and Spanish public-sector contracting (LCSP, Plataforma de Contratación). We deliver in English and Spanish, and we hold the compliance credentials that both markets require.
